This review is from: Skinomi DryTech – Dry-Install Screen Protector Shield for Samsung Galaxy 5.0 Android Mp3 Player + Lifetime Warranty (Wireless Phone Accessory) This was my first experience with applying a screen protector. Following the directions wasn’t too hard but it did take careful handling. Using the smoothing tool still left me with about 10 bubbles. It is noted in the directions that such bubbles would begin to disappear in 2-3 days and larger bubbles could take 1-2 weeks. Sure enough after several days some of the smaller bubbles were gone. After a week there were still 4 bubbles left. Another week has gone by and all the bubbles are gone. I washed my hands and wet my fingertips before applying per instructions. I didn’t have to clean the Galaxy’s screen as I applied the screen protector immediately after removing the cover it shipped with from Samsung. It fits well with just a small gap around the edges and is pretty much invisible when viewed head on. If I look at an angle I can see the outline but it isn’t noticeable under normal viewing conditions, or at least, my normal viewing conditions. But the fact that it is dry install made my rating to 4 stars instead of 5. In the past, I have used a few different brands of screen protectors and the wet install are a lot easier than dry install because on the dry ones once you put the plastic on your screen it is way harder to move it around. But this one fit my Galaxy Player 5.0 perfectly. |
