There’s decent sound quality, although you have to get most of the volume from your device, not from the speakers. It’s not exactly super portable, but that’s because of the adapter, which was actually a feature i wanted, and few speaker systems have. I didn’t want to mow through batteries, so the adapter, however clunky, was a must-have. One downside… If your player has it’s headphone jack on the bottom like mine, you have to set the player in the unit upside down, which does make it a tad hard to use.
